On behalf of the Board of Directors for the Harris Southeast Wireless Users Group, I want to extend an invitation to join us for the 2009 conference. This year’s meeting will be held at the Marriott Orlando Airport.

 

With the acquisition of Tyco Electronics Wireless Systems by Harris Corporation we are entering an exciting new era in Wireless Communications. This year’s conference allows all Harris users an excellent opportunity to preview new products and technologies, attend a training class, as well as network with others to resolve outstanding issues. It also allows for one-on-one interaction with Harris personnel. This year we will be taking a field trip to Harris Headquarters in Melbourne, FL so we can experience first hand what Harris’ vision for the future is. These sessions afford an opportunity for the Harris group to identify and prioritize system issues or desired improvements that the users feel need to be addressed. This interaction will include presentations by members of senior staff from Harris, along with the President of RF Communications, Dana Mehnert, and CEO Howard Lance. The Harris/Vendor Social on Tuesday night will be back in Orlando offering quality time for users, vendors, and Harris staff in a relaxed fun filled environment. We will also have a working vendor hall exhibit on Wednesday with an exciting display of products and services.

 

Registration for this year’s conference is $150 which includes the training session offered on Monday afternoon. There is a separate charge of $75 if you only wish to attend the training session. We have negotiated a daily rate of $109 and that rate is good for 3 days prior and post to the conference.
